Kickstart Cassiopeia is all about the Cassiopeia template that comes with Joomla 4. We have made a customizing module for you, allowing you to quickly get going with Cassiopeia. Get your new Joomla 4 website up and running, looking great in no time! You do not need to create code and/or css for this, all you have to do is configure the module. It has all the essentials you need!

Setup share buttons

This site has share buttons that visitors can use to share your website on their social media pages.


UPDATE May 2023: Addthis will stop as a service, so we have to change it also!

So as of version 1.8.0 we have changed this feature a bit. It will still work as described, but with share options

This article shows you how to set this up in KickstartCassiopeia. We use a widget from AddThis. If for some reason after enabling this feature, the buttons do not show up, you probably need to disable your add blocker for the site. 

  1. Enable our module
  2. Go to the module, and set the options under the tab
  3. Enable the 'show share buttons'
  4. Set the position, left or right
  5. Set the number of share buttons you want to use. The default is 3, but you can use more. The script itself will choose the most used buttons. The last option will show all share-networks that are available.

Addthis uses cookies, and you should be aware of this when implementing the buttons.
